GHSPSA x Futurepreneurship Fest: Then2Now Training Day

As part of the preparation for the Futurepreneurship Fest: Then2Now in the 2026–27 school year, a training day was held on Monday, 31 August, to support students in developing their ideas for the event. The session brought together student entrepreneurs and past-student mentors for a meaningful day of sharing, learning, and collaboration.
This year’s theme, “Then2Now,” encourages students to draw on valuable techniques, knowledge, and practices from the past, and apply them creatively to the present-day development of their market stalls. Through this process, students are invited to think critically about how traditional business ideas can be reinterpreted in fresh and relevant ways.
We welcomed alumna Astor Keung, who led training on marketing basics and storytelling, sharing insights from her experience. Eight past-student mentors in marketing, community partnership, and entrepreneurship supported the eight shortlisted teams by giving feedback, sharing perspectives, and suggesting ways to improve each team’s value and market position.
The presence of our alumni demonstrated the strength of the school community and the importance of giving back by supporting the next generation of student entrepreneurs. Their support made this training day both inspiring and impactful, and we are deeply appreciative of the experience and enthusiasm they brought to the programme.
With thanks to our mentors:
Astor Keung Natalie Au Johanna Chan

In love, hope, joy, and thanksgiving,
