About GHSPSA

GHSPSA was reborn in 2013 with an anew constitution and executive committee to connect Good Hopers of the past and present, near and afar, and to carry forth the core values of our alma mater -  Love, Hope, Joy, and Thanksgiving - in many different ways. Find out more about us here.

Welcome Message from the Chairperson

A very warm welcome to the website of Good Hope School Past Students Association.

 

As the executive committee is entering into a new term, basking in the joyous seasons of Christmas, the new year 2025 and the lunar new year of the snake, everyone is excited, inspired with ideas and charged with energy.

 

We hope to continue the success of the much supported activities that we have been collaborating with the school team for well over a decade, and to continue connecting with Hopers in Hong Kong and worldwide via more events and sharing via social media and our community chat groups.

 

The development of the Good Hope communities is another brilliant effort that ties together nicely the Hopers sharing the common profession, living in a close-by region in different parts of the world, or simply having a similar passion.  Each community has its own focus, its own specialty. It profits from the internet convenience of social networking to in-person meetings and gatherings.

 

Behind all these achievements, we are engineered by a huge team of tireless volunteers who have donated to us so much of their time, their thoughts and their financial supports.

 

We can only do one thing to thank them – we strive to do better every day, achieve more and move forward another kilometre every day.

 

A big thank you for everyone’s continued support.

 

May God continue granting us wisdom and His blessings.

Mission and Objectives

1

To cultivate and promote friendship among the past students of the primary and secondary sections of Good Hope School.

2

To foster and promote close relationship and better understanding among Past Students, the current students and the teaching and administrative staff of the School.

3

To foster activities of a social, cultural, educational, or recreational nature in the interests of the members of the Association or of the community at large.

4

To offer help to the School and to support current students in their personal and career development.

5

To support the Missionary Sisters of Immaculate Conception in their charitable and other works.

To support the Good Hope School Past Students Association Foundation Limited in its charitable works.

7

To promote the Christian values of Love, Hope, Joy and Thanksgiving which are the core values of the teaching of Good Hope School.

To promote education, learning, art, science, technology and research for the development of Past Students, current students and teaching and administrative staff of the School.

9

To carry out and perform all or any other acts, works, enterprises or things which are incidental to or conducive to the attainment of the objects of the Association.
