This summer GHS celebrated the retirement of Mr. Watson Ng who has diligently served the school for 40 years! PSA is humbled to be able to thank him for his years of care to generations of Hopers with a small token. We are pleased to pass on this message from Mr. Ng to all fellow Hopers.

真心感謝德望學校舊生會送贈的退休紀念品！

四十年轉眼過去，回望在德望學校任教的這些年頭，總覺不枉此生！每天除上課外，空堂時間便用來協助工友維修電器或冷氣機，設計教學工具或傢具，下課後便開始不同的校隊訓練，晚上回家編寫電腦程式至深夜。最忙的時候，在獲得校方的批準下，曾經和我的弟弟在學校住宿了兩年。

長假期正是訓練校隊及學生的好時機，球隊訓練，學生野外露營等，都安排在聖誕節、農曆年、復活節、暑假等長假期，所以四十年來沒有放過多少天假。

期待退休後可以有更多時間陪伴家人，享受家庭樂！

On Saturday, 16 July 2022, PSA Chairperson Karvan and EXCO Lydia and Veronica had the pleasure of introducing PSA to S6 girls and their parents at the S6 career talk session. Thanks for having us, and we wish you all good luck next week with your DSE result announcement!

PSA is honoured to be invited by GHS Careers Guidance Team to deliver the first ever Advising Skills Training virtually on 23 April for forty S.4 girls and student career ambassadors.

Notice is hereby given that an Annual General Meeting of the Good Hope School Past Students Association (“GHSPSA Ltd.”) will be held on Saturday, 15th January 2022 at 10:45 am, in hybrid mode.

Members can join in-person meeting at the Shanghai Yu Yuan (address: 26/F, V Point, 18 Teng Long Street, Causeway Bay), or online through Zoom.

Nothing marks a true celebration of bonding more than a partnership with a fellow alumna, which brings about a sake bearing the name of our dear school standing high on Kowloon’s verdant slope! This limited-edition Tokubetsu Junmai from Taiko Sake is brewed, bottled, packaged and handled in Japan with love and care, and is the ultimate collectible to commemorate comradery.

The annual mock interview workshop for S6 students completed on 5 Dec 2021 with great success! Twenty four past girls volunteered as interviewers to prepare the S6 girls for the university entrance interviews, and 75 S6 girls participated.

Our annual Student Mentorship Programme for S4 & S5 GHS students was kicked-off successful on 23 Oct 2021. With the support of 37 mentors (which is 50% more than last year’s recruit), we were able to support 113 student mentees this year. Industries covered including medical, legal, technology, engineering, education, public relations, marketing and business management.

Into 2021-22, PSA continues to partner with the Careers Team at GHS Secondary Section to offer a series of careers-related programs for senior secondary students.
