GHSPSA Celebrates the 13th year Mentorship Program (2024-2025), a kick-off ceremony
on Nov 9, 2024
This year, we have matched 63 selected mentees with 24 accomplished past students
who volunteered as mentors from different industries and generations. The kick-off ceremony was held at St. Joseph's Hall, with the School's senior management and Careers Guidance Team. Happy Mentoring!

Election of the Executive Committee 2024-26
By Article of Association 16(c), the election of the Executive Committee shall be held at the upcoming Annual General Meeting (“AGM”) of the Association on 7th December, 2024. The Secretary of the Association is now calling for the nomination of candidates at an election to return members of the Executive Committee.

“Back for Recess” Themed Homecoming Event
On July 13, our 'Back for Recess' themed homecoming event welcomed 300 past students and their family members and friends, creating an overwhelming turnout. Guests enjoyed recess-inspired snacks and spent a delightful afternoon at Good Hope School. During the event, all Hopers had the opportunity to tour around the school premises, classrooms, tuck shop, and library, capturing moments through photos to reminisce about their time at our alma mater.

Summer Workplace Scheme 2024
The workplace scheme for this year was set to run from June 26 to 30. We are grateful for the backing of 9 companies who have collectively provided 29 job opportunities during this period through PSA's platform.

Mentorship Program Closing Ceremony
The curtains draw to a close on a chapter filled with growth, guidance, and shared experiences as we gather to celebrate the closing of the Mentorship Program at the China Club, Central on Jun 22. Throughout the Mentorship Program this year, the collaborative efforts between the Past Student Association (PSA), the school careers team, 27 dedicated mentors, 59 impressive mentees, and school management have fostered a culture of growth and support.

We are delighted to announce that on February 29, 2024, we had the privilege of hosting 16 past students who generously shared their knowledge and career experiences with all S.4 students. The event aimed to facilitate meaningful interactions between multiple generations of Good Hopers, fostering a deeper understanding of different career paths.

Notice is hereby given that an Annual General Meeting of the Good Hope School Past Students Association (“GHSPSA Ltd.”) will be held online via zoom on Tuesday, 16th January, 2024 at 7:00pm.
The link of the zoom AGM and password will be provided by email 3 days before the AGM, i.e. Saturday, 13th January, 2024 upon verification of your membership status. For those registration received after Saturday, 13th January, 2024, link of zoom AGM and password will be provided as soon as the membership status is verified.
To allow us to verify your membership status, please register on this form before Tuesday, 9th January 2024, 12:00 midnight. Votes from unverified voters will be considered as invalid.

Good Hope School Choir 65th anniversary – Performing Musical Calliope--A Chronicle
of Virtuoso Eloquence at Xiqu Centre
The Good Hope School Choir are celebrating its 65th anniversary in 2024. To mark the beginning of the year, they are presenting our original musical Calliope--A Chronicle of Virtuoso Eloquence.
The musical is produced to show the power of music and passion, as well as the valour and perseverance entailed in the girls’ pursuit of dreams across different generations. Not only doesthe performance feature choir members of all the three sections, but also many current and retired teachers and M. I. C. sisters. A total of 3 shows will be held in January at the Grand Theatre in Xiqu Centre. Tickets will be available at West Kowloon Ticketing starting from 8 December 2023, the M.I.C. Feast Day Souvenirs are also designed to commemorate the special event.
