To continue the success of Double Happiness 5 years ago, GHS PSA and the Music Panel are co-organizing another memorable concert- Triptych Celebration on 2nd October 2010, celebrating the aesthetic education and arts development of our school.
The instrumental programme of the concert will include a joint school orchestra and a joint school band of more than 150 members from Wah Yan College Kowloon, Shau Kei Wan Government Secondary School Orchestra and the School band from St. Paul's Co-educational College.
The premier of Professor Victor Chan’s composition “Love Seeketh Not Itself But Please” which is a commissioned piece for Good Hope School Choir will be featured in the choral programme.
On top of performing different genres of choral music, including religious, art, musicals and folklore, our school choir and the PSA Choir members will jointly present choral pieces with the Male Choir from Wah Yan College Kowloon. The concert choir will perform under the baton of Professor Victor Chan of Chinese University and Dr. Allison So of Hong Kong Institute of Education.
Mr Anthony Lun will also create the Finale piece for the occasion, in which he will perform as pianist and solo singer with the joint school chorus and the joint school orchestra.
You are all invited to participate in this reunion celebration, re-live our musical lives at school. Come to celebrate the tradition and share the joy with the coming generation on stage!
