GHS 50th Anniversary - Golden Jubilee Dinner

In celebration of the 50th Anniversary of Good Hope School, the Past Students Association (PSA) presented the Golden Jubilee Gala Dinner in November 2008. The gala was held at the InterContinental Hotel, where over 500 Good Hopers and friends gathered at the evening to share this unforgettable moment with JOY!

Guests arrived at the cocktail with surprises to see their long lost teachers and schoolmates! To celebrate this memorable occasion, the school has launched a series of collectables, including Good Hope School customized stamps, Good Hoper stuff doll in uniform, and last but not least-- the "Anchor of the World", in which it marks the history and development of Good Hope School in the past 50 years!

The soiree kicked-off with the school song and a cake-cutting ceremony officiated by the School Council Committee, followed by a cheque presentation with the generous donation from a group of graduates from "Canada" to the MIC sisters and flew in for this gala! After a sumptuous dinner, guests were presented with a series of entertainment, they are the Beatles, ABBA and the Sister Act! As the gala drew to close, guests sashayed onto the dance floor to enjoy the rest of the evening.
