Dear fellow past students & schoolmates,
Firstly, Happy New Year to all of you and may your Year 2010 be filled with lots of God's Blessing, Joy and Peace.
The organizing committee would like to inform you that we had a successful evening on 12 December, 2009 where over 400 participants had shared joy and thanksgiving as gratitude to our beloved MIC sisters and the long term friendship amongst the alumni.
Result of the fund raising objective was also encouraging, we had raised HKD1,007,553 after deduction of all related expenses, totaling HKD 63,705, which largely made up of the dinner catering cost, while various expenses incurred in production of slides of MIC sisters missions, photography, video recording and preparation materials for the dinner had been absorbed by some organizing committee members. The entire sum has been donated to the MIC senior sisters in Canada.
Pictured above was the cheque presentation ceremony attended by Sr. Louis Denis, MIC. (Mother General), Sr. Monique Fortier, MIC. (General Bursar), Mrs. Jenny Lai and Sr. Mary Olga Lam on 9 Jan 2010.
